A big day – but Smillie won’t let me tell you about breakfast on Ocean Drive, sitting on the beach (and burning my legs – once again!!), walking down the beach for miles and experiencing Spring Break first hand (after I got over the fact that is my own kids in just a couple of years), having a late lunch and drinks, people watching and then walking back to the late afternoon pool party atop the roof of one of the close by hotels. Now that was an experience. Smillie had to show his credit card to get us in (they don’t take old farts normally!), but once we were in, I figured out why. If you add up all the ages of those in attendance, it would equal Smillie and I. But we had fun and made a good team! Smillie followed the bikinis and high heals. I followed all the speedos and topless men in the breeze. Let’s just say I can’t say what I want to say, but I had as much fun as Smillie!! Up next, time to kill, dinner and a club (Smillie will be bringing his credit card again!). Does it get any better than that in South Beach?
Welcome to Smillie’s Blog
Please continue at your own risk...
On this blog you can read (if you can decipher my use of the English language, spelling inconsistencies, typing unpredictability and all around lack of proofreading) about my adventures to, from and throughout Vietnam, as well as seeing photos and videos of people and places I visit along the way.
